Please rely on the bar scale on each map sheet for proper map measurements. The bar scale is on each soil map sheet located at the bottom of the Map Sheeet.  The maps have been scanned from the published survey and may not be at the original scale.

These soil survey maps were compiled in 1973-1974 by the Cartographic Division of the Soil Conservation Service.  USDA, from 1973-1974 aerial photographs controlled mosaic based on Maryland Plane Coordinate System, Lambert conformal conic projection, 1927 North American datum.
